In case you missed it, Libra season has officially arrived! In fact, all of my “Big 3” are on the horizon (Libra sun ♎︎︎, Scorpio Rising ♏︎, Sagittarius Moon ♐︎), with my birthday happening this Saturday! I’ve always been the girl who loves her birthday. Because we traveled for last year’s Golden 30, I’m aiming to keep this year a bit more low-key and intimate. That said, I have had multiple family members ask for a list of ideas for my birthday, so I figured I’d share my *dream list* here in the spirit of TT’s Top Three juuuuust in case any of you are looking for ideas for your birthdays too. Here’s what I’m wishing for in my 31st lap around the sun.
A new fragrance or two 😉: I’ve had Frederic Malle’s Promise by Dominique Ropion (who did their signature Portrait of a Lady, which I also own and love) on my wish list for years now. I’m also hoping to get my hands on Molecule 01 + Ginger. My siblings-in-law got me Molecule 01 + Guaiac Wood and I’m obsessed!
A ring from Simonett: I’m sure you’ve seen these gorgeous rings all over Pinterest. My problem is that I can’t decide on which one—silver or gold, stone or no stone. I’d be happy with just about any one, but I think my favorite is the Simuero in silver or the Hello Ring in gold.
New workout wear: Specifically, a few tops from Alo Yoga like this one and a bodysuit and shrug from Wear One’s At.
Allll tha’ ear candy 💎: I’m currently curating my solid-gold earring stack. I’ve been a big fan of The Last Line forever and already own a couple of their pieces. I was looking to add the Duo Stud and my siblings-in-law scooped it for me too 🥲. For costume jewelry, I also really love the Eliou Laurie earrings.
Sunglasses from Lexxola: Specifically the Damien in blue, or the Ida in black is a close second. Both are currently 30% off for the month of September!
A personalized cake: I love all the cute cakes popping up! I found the sweetest Instagram bakery here in Nashville (@maddie_spears) and already have my order under way. Needless to say, I am stoked. 🎂
A walking pad: There was a moment I wanted this and thought I didn’t need it, but now I’m convinced I do.
Self-care. Just self-care 🧖🏼♀️: I want to see all my girls for a facial, massage, aesthetics, and fresh nails. Is that too much to ask?
Candles, candles, candles: If there were ever a question about what to get me, you can certainly never go wrong with a candle. I’m currently feening for Saffron + Cedar by Salt & Stone (which if my memory serves me, smells just like Baccarat Rouge 540!)
New Beauty 💄: Another no-fail gift for me is beauty. I could spend hours at Sephora or on Violet Grey. Right now, I’m eyeing the Patrick Ta matte palette, Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm (which I’ve never tried, if you can believe it), the YSL Candy Glaze, and the Augustinus Bader Body Cream.
