A Mildly Impractical (But Really Fun!) Wish List

Before we get into it, I have to apologize for the radio silence last week. I am in between two big trips—one to the West Coast and one to the East—and while I believed I would have time to write in the air, between catching up with old friends and all the other hubbub of traveling, it’s proven more difficult than I originally expected to publish in real time. In fact, I am writing this letter waiting to board my next flight to Tampa.
I also wanted to mention I’ve been stewing on (what I believe to be) some really important essays. I have so much I’m learning and even more swirling in my internal world I know is aching to pour out. I had one written last week I decided not to publish due to what I concluded was a bit of unawareness of my own privilege in the end. Maybe I’ll publish it one day, but for now, please know I have some weightier content headed your way, if that’s your thing.
Until those ideas are fully realized, let’s kick off this holiday with a few things I’ve been screenshotting and saving to my categories, so while you’re lazy-ing around on your (🤞) off day, you might find a bit of inspiration for your fantasy e-cart. I personally love seeing what other people are eyeing and thought this would be a fun way to open up conversation before pulling the trigger on some items. That’s smart shopping, right?

Frasier Sterling necklaces: Has anyone purchased anything from Frasier Sterling? I’ve been drooling over so many of their pieces for so long, but am curious about the quality and if I could find a vintage version I like better. I currently have these two necklaces (here and here) saved for when they come back in stock.
Anything from Wette Mille: When I tell you have I have been feening for a piece ever since I saw this belt on Pinterest. I would give my right arm for the belt, but this necklace is pretty spectacular too.
Chillbies: If I’m honest, I’m between these and Super Birkis. I haven’t quite discerned how I’ll style either, but I love the look of them.
These Apollo sunnies from AKILA. I severely need an upgrade from my scratched $28 Amazon frames.
A coin belt a la the Khaite Benny, except I’ll likely thrift this because look at that price tag.
These Aeyde flats have been all over my FYP and I’m not mad. They’re so classic. I know we alo already have these Dear Frances flats saved, but I just need to remind us again of how good they are.
Pachinko by Min Jin Lee: I saw so many people rave about this book on TikTok. Dua Lipa also just announced its her pick for her book club too.
Iris Make-Up Bag: The last thing I need is another random bag to put inside one of my random bags, but what can I say? The stripes get me.
This JINsoon nail polish in “Dew”: Someone on TikTok said this is the most amazing natural color and I haven’t stopped thinking about. I know I’m typically a gel girl, but I need to find a way to give it a try.
I understand it is summer, but I think about this coat at least once a week. It has been at the top of my wish list for YEARS. I’ve spotted it in my dream color (the yellow) on TRR. No one buy it, okay!? I might pull the trigger.
MEMOR Studio launched this water dispenser. It’s not a want; it’s a need.
I thought I was too cool for the Gazelles and I was wrong.
The last thing I need is another initial necklace, but this one in silver from MUR Jewellery is too good.
